What is LOVE?
Love! Love! Love! What is love?
Should it call?
Let me change, give me time
Let me heal, give me pain
Promise, I will go, never come again-Love! Love! Love! What is love?
Should it call?
Let the word, make the rhyme
Let’s see the whole, not the prime;
Let it be Juses eternity, not certain
Never like “the second coming”- in your strainLove! Love! Love! What is love?
Is it Eliot’s “The hollow man—”
Is it Dostoevsky’s “Underground man”!!
Is it “the picture of Dorian Gray.”?
Is love the reply to the pray?Love! Love! Love! What is love?
Let me define,
It is like pray
In the gray
In the limbo of seriocomedy
Just like Dante’s Devine Comedy!!!!!Let God bless you,
Let God bless you.
Let me love you,
In my pain
Promise, I will go once, never come again-3 Comments-
The verses are more than impressive to me certainly… It feels as imperative dialogues inscribed on any wall that bars us to visualize the magnificent constraints of our lives…! Patterns of rhyming are alright yet I’d urge you to retouch (Remember, the more you polish, the more it shines…!) your work in those stanzas where literary references might not be used as links out of your poem.
Rather please raise the essence of those epic works right into your poem that could spread its very unique fragrances… I’m truly happy having someone like you here for elevating this yard to the International readers as the Editor Panel is thinking of it as well… Gratitude and greetings…
