As I grow up, I am starting to understand your point of view. In my opinion, trust, passion and respect are the most important things in a relationship. I didn’t think I could respect you last time we talked. I think I can do it now. It’s either I grew up, or absence really does make hearts grow a bit fonder.

I always felt like I’m competing for your attention. Should I feel like that? I don’t think so. When you compete continuously, you become someone else just to win the race. Growing doesn’t involve competing. It involves a lot of reflections. To reflect, you must have enough time and energy left just to think. You can’t do that if you’re always on the go living out of hustle culture.

I had become someone else just to suit your attention. I wanted to break free, and be my true self. So that once you leave me, I don’t become sick of that self. I did the right thing, didn’t I?

I should work on my dreams now. And be the best version of myself. So that when you come back to me, you can appreciate what I offer.
