The Path of Shadows🌏

In the river of blood, waves of disbelief flow,
Beneath the tyrant’s grandeur, the bright cages glow,
In the dust clouds, endless hope can be seen,
Promises are torn, the map of freedom in between,
Filth settles on the walls of promises’ sheen.
While lions feast in the forest’s deep,
Hyenas circle, fighting for their keep,
Gnashing at the meat with vicious delight,
Where respect is absent, only terror takes flight.
In the lion’s castoffs, the hyenas’ spiteful brawl,
A fierce contention for scraps, amidst the fall.
On one side, the rulers; on the other, the foes,
The mask of beauty hides the stench that grows,
Opponents are trapped in their survival fight,
The stage is set with a false display of might.
The coin’s face turns in darkened coves,
Temptations of power hide beneath the division’s guise,
Opponents engage in a relentless struggle for their prize.
In the shadows of tyranny, the dark tunnel’s grip tightens,
They fight for existence in a world where survival enlightens.
The bloodstains on the innocent remain unfaded,
On trust’s banner, the emblem of faith is jaded,
Behind the mask of self-interest, confusion plays,
In the web of distrust, hope is lost in the haze.
How sorrowful, how desolate,
An empty chest, hollow and late,
Surrounded by destruction like hyenas’ wear,
Maps torn apart, the epic’s despair.
The tyrant’s dreams and the foes’ fierce bite,
In this world’s dark mask, sealed tight,
In devotion’s arena, betrayal’s voice is sown,
In this chaotic time, the heart’s narrative is grown.
Is this the portrait of reality, the mark of history’s plight,
Where the value of human blood and respect is lost to the night?
Shadows of dreams and reality, severed and torn,
A sacrifice of disbelief, like hyenas, forlorn.
