(Reflecting on the Horrors of a Third World War)

Imagine standing amidst the ruins,
On the charred remains of what was once a world,
Having lost everything.

The air, thick with the scent of burnt gunpowder,
Each breath grows heavier,
As scorched earth envelops the soul.
The world itself struggles to breathe,
For the children born here are deformed,
Struck by the blows of war—
The ground cracks beneath,
Eyes hollow, devoid of dreams,
Only emptiness remains.

Fields, once fertile,
Now bear crops that are pale as death,
The hope of life extinguished,
A testament to the scars of war.
Silence lingers within the crops,
A mute lament for the fallen.

Hiroshima, Nagasaki—
Where the dance of destruction claimed thousands,
Children standing in its aftermath,
Their lives shattered, their dreams extinguished.
Yet even now, a sense of death lingers,
A shadow of horror etched into their souls.

The wind carries the stench of war,
The wounds of explosions—
In every breath, there is only death.
In the outskirts of Hiroshima, echoes remain,
The wails of spirits haunted by war,
A never-ending story of ashes,
Where the flow of life has ceased.

The unimaginable horrors of a Third World War—
For those who survive,
The struggle of life is written in their eyes,
The scars of pain,
The signs of war looming again and again.
Our connection to nature,
Since the war, feels hollow,
Yet the hope for peace remains, undying.

But have we truly learned?
Do we understand the cost of past mistakes?
In a world where war finally ends,
Hope may blossom again,
A new creation may arise.
Will we ever look back,
Or will we once more march blindly
Into the abyss of another war?
